About Me

JFI Photo 6.jpg

I’m a writer, director, editor, and colorist. Working in film/television has been something I’ve always wanted to do since I was ten years old. Since the time that I was that little kid obsessed with his parents home VHS camera, I’ve attended the University of Texas at Austin for Radio-Television-Film and have worked in many positions dealing with many of the diverse facets of the film industry across the world, from an intern for a finance and acquisitions company at the Cannes Film Festival, to directing multiple films that have gone on to play at film festivals across the country, including Dallas VideoFest and NewFilmmakers New York. Rather than just specializing in one skill, I try to excel at everything I do and use my varied experiences to help inform each job I have. No matter what my position is, this gives me a unique perspective that allows me to help clients achieve their goals. I also try to bring the same enthusiasm I had for the movies I used to see up on the big screen at the movie theater to the projects I work on. Currently I’m finishing up post-production on my first feature length film, a personal documentary, Lost and Found. I serve as the writer, director, producer, and one of two editors on the project.
